I’m so in love with this costume! I found it on etsy but asked my mom to make it for me instead!
She can now make things by looking at the picture which is totally awesome!
Our baby will only be a few days old once Halloween comes so thought this caterpillar costume would be perfect and cozy for her 🙂
I can’t wait to see how hers turns out and to put our sweet baby girl in it!

We have put the crib together!
We still have a little under three months to have everything ready for Annabella’s arrival so I haven’t started panicking yet.
I love to have everything ready way far in advance so I’m sure I’ll be going crazy soon.
Our son helps time fly by waiting for Annabella’s arrival. I remember waiting for him seemed like forever and now I feel like time is going by too fast.
While we were putting the. Rib together Kyler (our son) tore the styrofoam packing to bits and pieces!!!!! There’s a huge mess but he really enjoyed himself and we got the crib done while laughing at the same time.
We bought the crib bedding from The Land of Nod.
It was a bit pricey but the quality is great and I fell in love with the pattern.
We forgot to buy a mattress the last time we were out so I can’t put the bedding in yet but I will ASAP!
I can’t wait for the room to be finished and ready for our sweet baby girl.
Mom is knitting these adorable stuffed bears for each of her grandchildren.
She is using alpaca wool that she picked up from a renaissance fair in Virginia which will make for a super soft cuddly gift.
She got the pattern for this from allaboutyou.com.
I asked if it was difficult and she said the pattern had great directions.
She still wants to embroider a face and even knit a little jacket which would be super cute!
It sits about 5″ high so makes a perfect size for little ones!

She’s currently working on a newborn sleep sack which she hasn’t finished yet but the impatient daughter I am wants to share a photo now!
She is also knitting a hat to match!
The very top is ribbed followed by a row of adorable owls.
She is thinking of a buttoned bottom. The one she saw on the Internet has a closed bottom but buttons seem more practical and I agree!

I’ve been looking up newborn photo ideas and haven’t found the one that screams do this idea but here are a few I like.
I like incorporating mom and dads rings with the baby, cute idea!
I take back my starting comment… I love this one, it’s so adorable!
Our little princess will have her older brother to take photos with as well and these are a few great ideas.
I love the baby hammocks, they can be comfortable in the most awkward position and make it look precious.

This is the gown I wore last time after delivery and will again this time.

We also got our toddler who will almost be two when the newborn arrives some toddler big brother scrubs. They are so cute and he and daddy will look adorable wearing theirs together. 🙂
